Madison, Georgia is on the Antebellum Trail, which I have always abhorred for the clinging to and advancement of the notion of southern plantation charm. I don't remember where this was, but it was on the road to Madison, and obviously the former Chevrolet dealership was hoping to capitalize on the antebellum theme with this oddly grotesque caricature of classical columns and bold pediment. I took no photos of antebellum anything other than this freakish allusion to Greek architecture which excited me no end for its degenerate and ultimately fashioned to be disposable form, such properties eroding into waste product even as they are constructed.
