Pierre-Eugene-Emile Hebert, terracotta bust of Balzac

Pierre-Eugene-Emile Hebert's 1877 terracotta bust of Balzac. It's a bold piece, recalling Rodin's Balzac in its aggressiveness, but it's red terracotta and I keep expecting it to turn into a soup tureen. Never mind, I most frequently do photos of sculptures in black and white, and yet the terracotta kept coming off somehow as too refined. It took a while but I finally got 3 versions of the bust that I like.
