Update at bottom of post. Plus I had believed there were 1000 crosses, but there were 800, so have changed the title to read 800.. I wasn’t going to post on anything today, then I read at Upbeat Defiance that last night a man with a pick-up truck and chain drove through and knocked down 500 of the 1000 800 crosses, destroying at least 100 beyond repair.
Pictures of the vandalism are here.
Respect for the men and women in the military who have been killed in the war? I don’t think so.
I read that the White House refused to comment on the rancher incident, instead referring reporters to the local authorities. As I was saying in my post the other day on the rancher and shotgun incident, Bush needs to come out and say something on this, he needs to speak to his constituents and inform them that he doesn’t support violent actions against protestors and their property. When incidents like this happen and he says nothing he is giving, as far as I’m concerned, tacit approval.
I wonder what conservative bloggers will be saying about this.
Update. The man’s name is Larry Northern, 46, of Waco, Texas.
