Bouncing around your blog, looking at this or that. It’s very different from what it looked like the last time I was here, which was I don’t know, 2, 3 or more years ago. I can’t put my finger on it, maybe it’s the photos of open spaces and Americana, but it reminds me of a Wenders film. Although this page looks like it’s supposed to suggest a web article at the NYT. Jonathan, thanks for dropping by. The idea with those photos is I like observing people looking at the pieces at a museum. What I like to do with the images is bleach them out so the people stand out in relationship to the art. The MoMA was a great place for photographing, the light and space there was perfect for this. This is one photo out of a series of them. Here, my son was ogling Rodin’s Balzac. As for the other, I also love photographing out West. Wenders! It’s been too long since I’ve watched his old films. I need to return to those.
