"Things may have appeared to have become chaotic, but the plan that night was to be open to improvisation. Expecting the unexpected and working with and through it is what makes theater a vital, magnificent medium," Rose Quartz would later say, and that she never felt as in command of the stage as she had that night. Though disappointed the audience had fled at the critical moment, she understood their consternation, however no one had been in imminent danger and she only suffered minimal bruising.
