No compromise. No compromise. Ah–and I hope I’m wrong–but I feel like it’s Peter Pan appearing to Wendy after she’s an adult but it’s a done deal, no going back. Like when an airliner goes down in the sea and families of the lost are on the news saying, “We know you’re out there, we’re going to bring you home,” but you know it’s a done deal. (Note: After the petition for cloture, takes two days to “ripen”, while the Senate is in session, before a vote. My bad saying “today”. Get to angst for another few days over how I’m going to spend the next how many years angsting. I know I’ll be angsting. Just how.)

Talkleft gives the news that Pat Buchanan confirms it’s about putting radical right evangelicals, not Republicans, in control of the Supreme Court.

But we knew that already. We knew it. Why do we need Pat Buchanan’s confirmation?

Eyes to see, ears to hear, a brain to discern. We knew that. I don’t need someone with a name to confirm it for me. We know what it’s about.

We want to get back to business with our committees, the Repubs kept saying yesterday, you’re wasting our time.

Yes, I was back watching C-Span 2 on Thursday.
