Pretend I’m BoingBoing or something

A few posts ago I was grumbling over people forcing their progeny to make napkin rings out of cardboard toilet paper holders, or at least deluding them into thinking it was a good thing…

When instead they could be making finger puppets! Like H.o.p. did this past summer. His own idea. Cut the toilet paper holder down to fit your finger, tape and build your puppet out of quick-drying modeling clay atop the cardboard.

While continuing to rearrange all the stuff around the apartment and gain some walking room, this evening I tried a plug-in that would integrate selected images from H.o.p.’s Gallery into blog posts. And failed. I thought using root paths would work since the Gallery isn’t in my WordPress directory and is on a subdomain, but so far no deal. Anyway, I tried so I could just embed his images here from the gallery. And that not working, I continue the old-fashioned way. Click on the below thumbnails to view larger images if you like. They are monsters in the first 3 (the guy in the rear is missing the horn on top of his head, remember, these were done this past summer and have had some wear and tear) fighting over a cough drop (H.o.p.’s idea, as we’ve had colds and cough drops were readily available) and the last pic is of Tim and Moby of Brainpop.

Pretend I’m BoingBoing and someone with a Phd in whatever made them and you’ll appreciate these offerings more. Promise.

Tomorrow I’ll post pics of his cone monsters from last fall. I would today but I’m having problems with everything. Cruddy photos even with my good camera. Things going wrong everywhere.

With all the pics I post of H.o.p.’s Tim and Moby fan art, Brainpop should give me a discount. Though no one ever Googles their way here looking for Tim and Moby pics. But you’d be surprised how many people come by here looking for lamprey pictures. Well, at least for my little F blog a fair number of people come by looking for pics of lampreys.
