Oz and the Great Depression

I guess “The Grapes of Wrath” is what happened after Dorothy returned home from Oz, got involved with Hunk, got pregnant, Auntie Em and Uncle Henry lost the farm and everyone picked up and moved to California. Except for Elmira Gulch. She weathered it all right and later built a local historical society in her own honor.
