Things Not Apparent to the Eye

During our December trip, H.o.p. met this little girl at a rest stop and they played together a while. She was living out of the car with her family on the way from a failed life out west to hopes of finding a better life and work in the northeast.

Things not apparent to the eye are there in every picture. What you don’t see here is the little black cat H.o.p. had just attempted to pet, that went running down the drain to the rear of the picture.

This was taken the second morning of our trip to New York back in December.
