Anyway, there it is, Marty’s encounter with one of those overly brittle Ikea glasses that shatter so easily (and quietly) in the sink. Eleven stitches worth. Thus far things seem to be going smoothly in the healing end.

OUCH! That looks nasty! I hope the stitches hold.

As for your Strawberry Napoleon request, I’ve asked Res at the Republic of Dogs. He’s a walking, talking compilation of Gourmet Magazine. Hopefully he’ll get back to you via here, via his place or via mine.

Strawberry Napoleons are probably good for cleansing away the bitter taste of shame and dust. 🙂

Thanks! I was looking at recipes on my own and not trusting anything I saw.

Swelling has gone down, it shows no sign of infection, and so far so good with the stitches. Snowqueen advised on some Duoderm and we looked for that several places and finally were directed to a medical supply place. But right now it is looking like we won’t need it.

    Glad it’s healing.

My worst injuries have always been from housework. I can bike, hike, garden, and work 18 hours on my feet, but housework does me in.
