Waxing Gibbous Moon and Clouds
View On White
The features we saw, “Aliens in the Attic” and the new “Ice Age”, were phoned-in by committee, even sharing jokes. H.o.p. was a motormouth of observations, including, “Maybe it would be better if they did like Hitchcock and didn’t use music until the suspense was over.” (He was recalling some comments I made the other night on how Hitchcock used/didn’t use music in the cornfield scene in “North by Northwest” and its psychological impact.) We’ll return for better films.
