With most of the photos in this series, they are true collaborative efforts with my son…

He plays and I will photograph. He asks me to photograph him playing at being things because he wants to see what will happen in the photograph, what it captures, and what we can do with post-production.

No longer, but when he was three to six years of age the picture books he carried around always were art books of Ernst (he loved in particular “The Hundred Headless Woman”) and Picasso.

Obviously we borrowed on the classic handlebars as horns for this.
