Georgia Aquarium, Crabs and Fish

Need to get back to the Georgia Aquarium. I’m wondering how my Canon would do there, though I’m really liking what I’ve managed to pull out of a few of my old Sony pics. A problem is it’s so crowded that there’s no leisure time for taking pictures. I wonder if the overcrowding situation has alleviated any. H.o.p.’s begging to go but it certainly won’t be this month. It’s an expensive place. Looking at the website, one thing that’s nice is they’ve recently made it so members don’t have to make reservations.

I realize that I like taking pictures of fish and other marine life.

My niece is a whale specialist there. You’ll have to let me know when you go, maybe I can get you some behind the scenes info/access.

We went for the opening weekend (Thanksgiving of ’05). It was an incredible place.

That’s right. I remember the mermaid ornament.

They’ve some astonishing exhibits. I can’t even begin to imagine what work it takes behind the scenes. It’s massive.

I recently went for a private affair. It was a lot of fun and the exhibits were delightful.

How cute is H.o.p. for posting?!!
