One thing you really don’t want to see when you are getting on Spaghetti Junction are cars on the overpass above you backing up–backing up on those high high spaghetti junction overpasses–to avoid what they can see just beyond that you can’t, and it’s too late now for you to do anything but sit in an absolute traffic standstill long enough that people from surrounding cars are finally ducking into the bushes on the embankment to relieve themselves and no one’s hurrying back down from the embankment because it’s obvious you’re going to be there a while yet.

No, it’s not good when you pull onto Spaghetti Junction and look up to see cars above you all going in reverse.
