Lolita – Location of the Ferry

The top image is shot 267 from Kubrick’s Lolita. The bottom image is the ferry in question. Hunted around and was fortunate to find where the location was via this image. It is what was the Jamestown Ferry landing at Newport, Rhode Island, and is now Ferry Wharf. Jamestown Ferry landing appears to have been in operation until the 1960s.
